Incarceration provides time to inmates for reflective thinking and many turn their hearts back to God. Many are searching to know Him better and to learn from the Scriptures how to find peace with God.

We have over 15 volunteer teachers from our church, both English and Spanish speaking, who correct lessons that are sent by mail directly to those who enroll in any of the five Bible studies offered. When the teachers mail back their corrected lesson, they also include the next lesson with a self-stamped envelope.

This ministry allows the teacher to be in contact with the student, providing words of encouragement and friendship, via pen names, while enrolled in the program.

Inmates are grateful for this connection and eager for the opportunity to study God's word. Volunteers are greatly needed to reach these people with the truth of the Bible.
